Hello everyone,

I am Thomas, the English and French director at MSTERIO. For day 2 and day 3 the campers and I had so much fun during my classes.

On day 2 for our English and French classes we travelled around the world and learned how to say the names of different countries! We also looked at a globe and had the campers spin the globe and wherever their finger landed they would have to say the names of the countries. Finally we ended it with a treasure hunt game where campers had to go around the room and collect a pair of cards. One card had the country name and one had the nationality. The campers got really competitive and had an amazing time!

On day 3 we all became superheroes! In the beginning we learned some superhero abilities like fly, jump, run, and swim! Then we played a game where we listened to some music and when the music stopped they had to do a gesture of one of the 4 abilities. Then campers had to design their own superhero. Campers were allowed to create any superhero of their liking! They also had to write at least 2 sentences to describe their superhero and their powers! The kids had fun letting their imagination run wild!

These last couple of days were ones filled with memories and lots of fun and hopefully they will continue their interest in different cultures and especially different languages!
