さあーーー今日から始まるMSTERIO.　

ここ群馬みなかみはとてもよいお天気に恵まれました。

昨日は約３０名のスタッフたちが前日入りを果たしキャンパーたちを迎えるために準備に１日費やしました。夜は、チームの力をぐっと集結するために　今年初参加してくださるKIYOさんと一緒にアイスブレイクゲームや、KIMIちゃんと一緒に、あるアート作品を作りました、これは　今年キャンパーたちと一緒に作る作品なので、今は内緒！　楽しみにしていてね。

９：１５東京駅八重洲南口で、バスに乗るキャンパーたちや親御さんと待ち合わせ、出席チェック、ナースチェックを終えたあと、グループごとに分かれてバスの待つ鍛冶橋パーキングに移動しました。　乗るときにおにぎり弁当を受け取り、いざさるしょうへ　LET'S GO!!!

初参加のキャンパーたちはちょっと不安そうな様子でしたが、お隣になったキャンパーやカウンセラーの大学生たちと楽しそうにお話をしているうちに、笑い声も聞こえはじめ、和気あいあい。　二度の休憩もみんな協力してくれたために、なんとびっくり〜〜〜〜さるしょう到着は予定よりも３０分早く着くという、これまでにない時間通りなスケジュール！３０人近くのスタッフたちが手を降りながら私達を待っていてくれました。　

荷物をさるしょうに入れたあと、すごいホールに集まって、お茶やポカリを飲んで寛いだあと、スタッフの紹介、さるしょうの使い方についてKENJIさんからお話を伺ったり、MSTERIOの約束事や、JOSHからMSTERIOをもっと楽しむために気をつけることのアナウンスがあったり、緊急の時に、どのように対応するかの対応も学びました、

その後は、１２のキャビンぎめをして、自分がどこのキャビンになるかが決まった後は、キャビン名を決めたり、キャビンサウンドを決めました。　キャビン名は最後に発表しますね。

そして夕食前まで　自由時間。

夕食は男子キャビンは外のパテイオで、女子キャビンはCAFE101 でみんな食欲旺盛。

今晩のメニューは：チキンてりやき、キャベツ＆プチトマト＆オレンジ、きんぴらごぼう、ご飯、お味噌汁　でした。

デイナーの後は、MSTERIOパスポートが配られ、イミグレーションオフィサーたちがスタンプを押し、ここで正式に全員　MSTERIOカントリーに入国することができました。

その後、午後に練習した各キャビンの発表会。それぞれいろんなアイデアを出し合って、ユニークで楽しいキャビン名ばかり。

彼らの後に飛び入りで、大人スタッフたち２組も登場。

今日１７才のバースデーを迎えた女子キャンパーのお祝いもみんなでできて幸せでした。

MSTERIOの開幕の今日のこの日をとても楽しみ待っていた私達スタッフ全員、こうして、いろいろなところから来てくださったすばらしいキャンパーたちとこれから８泊９日一緒に過ごせることがうれしくてたまりません。

明日は午前中からクラスが始まります。　どんな１日になるか　楽しみにしていてくださいね。

Today marks the start of MSTERIO!

Here in Minakami, Gunma, we have been blessed with wonderful weather.

Yesterday, about 30 staff members arrived a day early to prepare and spend the whole day getting ready to welcome the campers. In the evening, we all gathered to deepen our team spirit. We played icebreaker games with KIYO, who is joining us for the first time this year, and we worked on an art piece with KIMI. This artwork is a secret for now, as it will be a surprise event with the campers this year. Look forward to it!

At 9:15, we met the campers and their parents at Tokyo Station Yaesu Minami Exit. After taking attendance and a quick health check, we got on the buses at the Kajibashi Parking Lot. Once we were on the bus, we received onigiri bento (rice ball lunches). Off we went to Sarusho!

The campers seemed a little anxious, but as they started to get along with each other, we saw more smiles. We were surprised that we arrived at Sarusho 30 minutes ahead of schedule – a rare occurrence! Almost 30 staff members were waiting for us, waving their hands when we arrived.

After putting our belongings in Sarusho, we listened to KENJI's explanation about how to use Sarusho. After that Josh gave us some tips including MSTERIO pledge to fully enjoy the camp! We also had an evacuation drill.

We split into 12 cabin groups. Once we found out which cabin we were assigned to, we decided on cabin names, rules, sounds, and sculpture. The cabin names were announced later for the special event tonight.

For dinner, the boys' cabins dined on the patio, while the girls' cabins ate at CAFE101. Everyone enjoyed their meals! Bon Appetit.

Tonight's menu was: Chicken Teriyaki, Cabbage & Cherry Tomatoes & Orange slices, Kinpira Gobo (braised burdock root), Rice, and Miso Soup.

After dinner, MSTERIO passports were handed out, and the Immigration Officers stamped them, officially allowing everyone to enter MSTERIO Country.

Following that, there was a cabin presentation after the dinner, where each cabin showcased various ideas for unique and fun cabin names.

Now, it's time for the announcement of the cabin names!!!
